Introducing Jon, a 53-year-old avid tennis and pickleball player from Pennsylvania who came across For Wellness during a ten-year health battle.

How did you discover For Wellness? Why did you choose to try The Good Stuff?

As I’ve continued to age, I have attempted to find ways to stay active. I used to play basketball in my younger days and I ended up with a ruptured disc eight or nine years ago that led to some back issues. Anytime I would stand for more than five minutes or so, my legs would start to go numb.

I ended up having to have back surgery about five years ago, but by then I had put on probably 30 or 40 pounds and thought, "I really need to get control here." So, I started playing tennis, and then over the last year and a half started playing pickleball as well and just started eating a bit better.

Through this process, my knees started to hurt; I was trading one pain point for another. To combat the pain, I was getting cortisone shots almost every three months just to try and get rid of the inflammation and pain that I was experiencing in my knees.

I thought “I need to find a better solution, as I don't want to keep getting these shots.” I saw the advertisement for For Wellness and figured I'm willing to try anything.

Within a week of being more active, watching what I was eating, and starting For Wellness, I remember thinking “Where did the pain go in my knees?”. I now can play two hours of tennis and an hour and a half of pickleball and still walk to my car without pain. Little by little, I've been able to be more active with my friends and family. We were at the beach for a couple days. I played four days in a row for two hours a day and felt fine when I came home without any pain other than just being muscular sore.

In addition to the reduced joint pain, how else has The Good Stuff impacted your daily life?

The focus benefits have been noticeable. I am a financial advisor and have to be at the top of my game every day because we manage money for people and we want to do what's right for them.

Being mentally sharp when managing finances and helping people through their retirement journey is very important. I am much more focused and able to get a lot more work done in a day than I ever did before.

What are you most proud of about your wellness journey?

I'd say consistency. I'm doing this because our life is a marathon and not a sprint. I'm in this for the long haul. In the past I’ve tried different pills and supplements and when I didn’t see any results, I would stop. Knowing I'm having a cup of coffee with The Good Stuff in it every morning sets me down the path of trying to make better choices and stay active each and every day.
