Celebrating Labor Day the healthy way? Try this USA-themed red, white, and blueberry smoothie as a fun treat!

This recipe makes 1-2 smoothies.

Ingredients

For the Blueberry Layer:
  • 2 ice cubes
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein
  • Handful of frozen blueberries
  • 1/4 cup plainΒ or blueberry yogurt
For the White Layer:
  • 2 ice cubes
  • 1/4 cupΒ plainΒ yogurt
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein
  • Half a frozen banana (optional)
For the Red Layer:
  • 2 ice cubes
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 3 scoops of The Good Stuffβ„’ Performance
  • 1/4 cup strawberryΒ or vanilla yogurt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the BlueberryΒ Layer:
    • In a blender, combine theΒ blue layer ingredientsΒ and blend until smooth.
    • Pour the mixture evenly into 2 mason jarsΒ or glasses (or just the one if you're not in the mood for sharing) and place in the freezer for about 20 minutes to firm up.
  2. Prepare the WhiteΒ Layer:
    • Rinse the blender, then add theΒ white layer ingredients and blend until smooth.
    • After theΒ blue layer has firmed up, pour theΒ white mixture on top of theΒ blueΒ layer in the mason jars and return them to the freezer.
  3. Prepare theΒ Red Layer:
    • Rinse the blender again, then blend theΒ red layer ingredients until smooth.
    • Once theΒ whiteΒ layer has set, pour theΒ red mixture on top of the red layer in the mason jars.
  4. Serve:
    • Top with blue spirulina powder or blue sea moss gel for extra blue!
    • Add a fresh strawberry or a mini American flag for a bit of fun.
